Sharing Our Tears
Disclaimer: I do not own the show Digimon, or this song it belongs to
Shiramine Mitsuko. Taito so just deal with that. Set in Tai's pov after 01.
For a while now
You've been sad
You stand still
You always keep it inside.
"Matt don't do this, look I can tell something is wrong, so just tell what the problem is so I can help" I say to his vanishing form as he walks off.
"Don't bother" he replies. Fine that's it, time to get serious. I tackle him to ground, hey years of soccer practice does in come handy sometimes.
Leaning on my shoulder
Just for a bit
And being soft
Is not to admit defeat
No matter what
"Now tell me what's wrong and I'll let you go" I huff.
"Whatever" he coldly replies.
"Don't use that whatever crap with me, Yamato Ishida" I yell.
"Fine, I'll tell you what's wrong"
"Good but let's get off the ground first" I suggest"
"Sure"
No matter what
Comes between us
Together
We'll be ok
Like this
We walk over to a park bench and sit down.
"Tai, I'm gay" He flatly states.
"You are?" I say
"Yes I am" His eyes are watering.
Like this
Sharing our tears
always together
Let's stay this way forever
I pause to let the information sink into my brain.
"What, trying to think of names to call me Yagami" he snorts.
"No"
"What, aren't you disgusted with me?"
"Let me ask you three questions then, Matt"
"Am, Ok"
"One: Is there someone you love?"
"Yes"
"Two: have you told them yet?"
"No"
"Three: Why not"
"I'm scared, Tai, what if he's against that sort of relationship?"
"Who, Matt, cause if anyone ever hurts you I'll kick their ass"
"Then have fun kicking your own ass Tai" He moves to leave but I grab his jacket and pull him back down.
"It's me, Matt?"
"Yes, Tai"
"Well I guess we can try it, but if it don't work let's promise to always be alright?"
"For you Tai, of course.
Our first "date" was it the annual carnival.
In the photo booth we acted silly
Closed our eyes, looked at our strip of pictures
Making fun of each other and laughing
If struggling alone
Is right
That's too lonely
Anywhere
"Hey Matt"
"Yeah Tai?
"Remember when you said I took to many risks"
"Yeah I remember, and you said some risks were worth it"
"Well was I right?"
"That's one thing I'm glad I wasn't right about"
Anywhere
I can get to like it
Together we'll be ok
Like this
Years later, Tai and Matt have married and then they adopted 2 beautiful kids.
Like this
Facing each other with the same smile
Never change
Let's stay this way forever
No matter what comes between us
Together we'll be ok
Anywhere
Anywhere
I can get to like it
Together we'll be ok.
The end. Please review.
