Notes: this was written for the Naruto meme community on lj. The prompt was: three times Sakura and Sai slept together. So this is my first SaiSaku or SakuSai! Whatever! This version has been edited.
I. Just a Little Bit…
The first time Sakura slept with Sai was on the fourth anniversary of Sasuke's leaving the village. They did it on the very bench Sasuke had left her on that night so long ago. She was ashamed to admit that she was very sober and only did it because it was so easy to pretend that he was .
II. Again Please?
The second time they slept together, Sai was the one who approached her. He knew that she pretended that he was Sasuke the first time, but he didn't care. He knew it didn't really matter, he just wanted to experience the pleasure and the rush again. Sakura never knew it but he had been a virgin when she had come to him that night. He only agreed to sleep with her because he didn't like seeing her like that, though he just can't seem to figure out why.
He cornered her at her office in the hospital late one night and got her to argue with him. Before he knew it they were kissing and he was screwing her on the desk, papers flying everywhere. He didn't know if he was doing it right, but he figured she'd push him away if she didn't like it. After both of them reached the nirvana they were searching for, she pushed him off of her and zipped her dress up and left. Sai felt a tugging in his chest and he thought that this must be what disappointment felt like.
III. Tired of Being Alone
The third time Sakura and Sai slept together, it was in a closet of Hokage tower after Naruto got sworn in. Their eyes met form across the crowded building and eventually they found there way to a broom closet. Sai took her against the wall, driving into her so hard that the shelves began to shake and a can of Lysol fell on his head. It made them both pause and really look at each other. Then Sakura began to giggle and Sai continued. It was much like their time in her office-fast and rough-only this time Sakura stayed with him once they left the closet. Sai now could say that he knew the meaning of true joy.
