Ears
As you will notice I frequently write a lot of fics with Elazul in them. I can't help it, the Jumi arc was my favorite; I just love all the Jumi so much, and since you see the most of Elazul and Pearl... This one is written because... well just what do sprite ears look like? :)

"Your ears…" Elazul mentioned, staring fascinated at Imu, or rather at the side of her head.
"What about them?" She asked subconsciously poking at one of them.
She had just emerged from the washroom of the inn room they were staying at for the night. Having gone out searching for other Jumi, they ended up in Geo where their search would resume the following morning. Without the decorative wooden sticks she normally wore, Imu's hair was loose and damp.
Sitting down on the edge of her bed she began to comb her long golden locks.
"Well… you have them," he said.
"Of course I have them!"
"Well I've never seen them before… they're..." he stopped, turning away.
"What?" she prodded.
"Weird."
She threw the brush at him, narrowly missing his head.
"What's wrong with my ears?!" she fumed.
"Nothing!" he said, holding his hands up in a warding gesture as she reached for more ammunition. "I've just, never seen ears like them before. I had always assumed you were human."
Imu's glare did nothing to set him at ease. But he was right. She looked human enough, but clearly was something else. He ears were small, like a human's, but slightly elongated, like Bud or Lisa's. They looked like miniature versions of elf ears actually.
"Well I'm not," she replied haughtily.
There was a long period of silence before curiosity forced Elazul to break it.
"So… What are you then?"
"I am a Sprite, thank you very much!"
