Please ignore the shittiest title in the world.
I'm trying to get better at titles, I really am.
ANYWHO THIS IS MY SECOND FANFIC.
Fanfic means that the characters are not mine... but if they were...
"Devi! Come out now! " Jasdero whined.
"Not until you find me!" Devit's voice floated through the forest like a song.
The blonde teen crashed through the undergrowth toward his brother's voice. When he finally reached the clearing where Devit was standing, Jasdero's hair was riddled with twigs and leaves.
"Nice hair, Jas," Devit snickered at his twin.
"What's wrong with Dero's hair!?" Jasdero tugged furiously at his long locks.
The raven-haired teen chuckled to himself and beckoned his brother closer, grabbing a comb from his jacket pocket and waving it in the air. Jasdero sniffed and slouched over to Devit, following him into the shade of a large tree.
"Hihii, Devi! Why's this tree all pink?" Jasdero asked curiously as Devit flopped down on the ground.
"Jeez, it's like you've never seen a flower before, Jasdero," Devit answered, slightly irked. "Sit down, I'll get the knots out of your hair." Jasdero sat down in front of his twin with a sigh.
Devit gently gathered a section of the blonde's hair and began to comb out the ends. As he slowly worked his way around and up toward the roots of his brother's hair, the raven-haired teen noticed a happy sound threading through the clearing. It sounded almost like purring. He paused, amused. He'd never heard Jasdero make that sound before.
Jasdero craned his neck around. "Devi, why'd you stop?" he asked sadly.
"I'm finished, you dolt," Devit smiled and playfully pushed his brother forward.
"Dero is not a dolt!" the blond cried out. The look on Jasdero's face was priceless to Devit. It was an adorable mix of confused, angry, and indignant all rolled up into one.
Devit launched himself at Jasdero and pulled his brother into a headlock. "Shut up, you idiot," he laughed and ruffled Jasdero's hair. Jasdero squealed in surprise and wrapped his arms around Devit's waist as he fell backwards, pulling his twin down with him. The boys fell down in an awkward tangle of limbs, with Jasdero flat on his back and Devit half-sitting and half-laying down on top of him.
A light breeze blew through the clearing, scattering the petals off of the tree above them. As pink rained down on the twins, Devit started to sneeze. "Shit…" -sneeze- "Let's get out of here, I can't" -sneeze- "breathe!" -sneeze sneeze-
Devit untangled his limbs and hauled himself up, holding his arm down for Jasdero to pull himself up with. As the two boys sauntered out of the clearing, Jasdero looked at his twin and giggled.
"Hihii! Devi's got flowers in his hair!"
Devit scowled up at the petals that were hidden from his line of sight. If looks could kill, those petals would have wilted in seconds. Jasdero smiled at Devit's expression, reached a hand up to dust the offending plant-life off of his brother's head, and then grabbed his hand and lead him down the path to their next destination.
