Amazing Grace
I leaned back on the headboard, staring at what I supposed would be the ceiling, I mentally drawn the features around me. The chandelier sung as the breeze gently caressed the glass; I made a mental note of it being in the center mapping out a silhouette. I imagined that since the man that took care of me, has very exquisite, precise and quite antique taste, his rooms' decor would portray nothing less- Ink paintings on the wall, showing Japan's wild beauty. At that moment, I heard the door open with the lock making a 'click' noise. I figured it was Sesshoumaru and I was right, when a deep baritone voice emitted from that corner of the room.
"Breakfast is served." The unsweetened fragrance of green tea took over, pleasuring my sense of smell. The untamed herbal aroma filled my lungs and a small smile grew across my face.
"The usual, huh," I said, while fixing myself properly so that he may move closer to me.
"That and I bear pleasant news." Sesshoumaru said.
"Really now?"
"We've raised enough money to fix your eyes. You will now be able to see." His voice was it's usual monotone, however mild amusement was laced around his words.
I realized that patience really was a virtue. "Thank you, Sesshoumaru." That and you could never stop believing in anything... or one. I grinned and nodded the rest of the meal eaten in comfortable silence.
A smile prodded at his lips, but remained hidden. "Hnn."
