Fine Line
A/N: I do not own any characters in the Sister's Grimm series or the books would not have turned out as well as they have if not authored by Michael Buckley. I also do not own the amazing universe that is Hogwarts. That is owned by J.K Rowling, one of my greatest idols.
The sky thundered with an ominous growl as gray clouds rolled menacingly across the sky. A stone castle towered in the distance with it's outline clearly highlighted against the miserable stormy sky. Inside, the occupants of the castle matched the mood of the weather.
A bedraggled blond came stomping into the Gryffindor common room with a scowl as dark as the clouds outside adorning her face. Her robes were covered in mud and a strange unidentifiable green goop. Several first years lifted their heads but once catching the twisted expression of their Head Girl hurriedly returning to their previous activities, not wanting to get in the way of her undeniable wrath. Only one person had the ability to calm her down and only one person had the ability to enrage her this badly.
"Puck?" A bold second year asked with a smarmy grin on his pale face while tilting his face up in what he hoped was a charming expression. It wasn't. A cold face with features set in stone turned her head to glare angrily, barely concealed malice in her eyes. The second year whimpered and ran his hand through his already untidy dark hair before turning back to his chess game.
The Head Girl surveyed the room once more before attempting to head up to the girls dormitories.
"Oh no you don't!" A boyish face with fine features popped up in front of her with deadly seriousness in his eyes.
"Not now Pan!" Sabrina sighed before pushing past him.
"Yes now!" Pan insisted with a fierce determination.
"Well not here then!" Sabrina hissed, looking around as their conflict garnered attention. Pan frowned slightly, the slight dip in his brow not affecting his aristocratic features in the slightest as he nodded curtly and led her out of the common room, tugging on her hand as he did so. Sabrina let out an involuntary silent sigh as she succumbed to her fate and followed Pan blindly, knowing where this was heading. Sure enough, they landed in front of the tapestry that hid the entrance to the Room Of Requirement.
Pan let go of her hand to pace three times and Sabrina absentmindedly rubbed the place where he had grabbed her wrist before, her mind lost in a silly haze clouding and warping her vision.
"You coming in Sab?" Pan asked turning his head towards her, every detail in his profile magnified by a thousand by the fireplace flickering softly behind him. Sabrina silently cursed herself, nothing would really come out of her ridiculous crush on her best friend but hey, anything was supposed to be possible. She just had to find the right technique to nab him.
"Sab...Sab?" A hand waved frantically in front of her face. She blinked as she gazed past the brunette into the cozy room behind him.
"Coming"
Thanks for reading, this may be a bit OOC but that's supposed to fit in with the story. We don't know a lot about Pan so I made some of it up. Hope you enjoyed and Puck will happen in the next chapter! Any constructive criticism will be welcome.
Thanks again,
