Mischief Managed
Summary: John loves to poke fun at Rodney... so what would make Rodney think it was a good idea to bring him to his sister's house for dinner?
Presenting theme number 72: Mischief Managed.
Madison Miller had recently learned to read. Rodney, being the responsible and encouraging uncle that he was, decided to help her get the jump on other kids. Soon Madison was two grade levels above where she should be. And an avid fan of the world-famous J.K. Rowling series, Harry Potter.
On their next visit to earth, Rodney and John were invited to dinner by Jeannie. Upon arrival, Maddy immediately launched herself at her uncle, thanking him for his previous gift. They spent the day touring Jeannie's quaint Canadian town and playing with Madison.
Madison couldn't stop talking about her books and, after dinner, John got a burst of inspiration. Rodney was none-the-wiser as they took their leave of the suburban house. And as he fell asleep that night, he smiled because everything was fine and for once there was nobody out to get him.
Or so he thought.
The following morning, John Sheppard made himself a turkey sandwich. Taking a bite he heard a thump coming from McKay's room. He could practically see the look on his face as Rodney awoke to find himself in quite a predicament. Luckily, he'd also thought to hide a camera in the room so he could share the moment with everyone.
John took another bite of his sandwich.
"Colonel!"
John smirked and tried to smother his laughter.
"Mischief managed," he whispered.
Naughty John... whatever could he have possibly done to Rodney this time? Oh, well, use your imaginations! You've got one, haven't you? Well, anyways this was just one of three drabbles based on a list of themes by BiteMeTechie. And, by the way, both Harry Potter and Stargate rock! In their own way, of course! Rock on!
