Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who!
Also- I have no idea where this poem came from. I sat down, and ten minutes later this appeared.
Is your mind a mess of space and time?
Do you want to laugh, and yet to cry?
Do you feel as though you've been ripped in two?
My friend, I sympathize with you.
I once stood where you stand now.
But now I've gotten here, somehow.
And I have to ask myself if it's true...
Is is better to be there than have hearts times two?
Is it better to live with a void in my life
than to feel all of this fictional strife?
Is better to wish for the moon and the stars?
Or better to think that the Doctor's from Mars?
If you're on the edge, if you don't really know
let me tell you a little about this show.
The cleverest show that was ever invented
will never enable your hearts to be mended.
If you're unsure of it now, if you've cold 'round your toes
I'll tell you of Rory, of Amy, of Rose.
Of a boy who waited so long a time...
(I'll give you a hint: He's taken. He's MINE.)
Of a girl who waited a whole faithful night
and loved her centurion with all of her might.
Or the girl who managed to save the day.
She loved a man too, but he couldn't stay.
The saddest story's the Doctor's own one.
He shines brighter than anyone, bright as the sun.
But despite that, despite that he shone,
they always leave him all on his own.
I wanted to warn you what you're doing.
Warn you that it's your own life you're ruining.
But if you're certain now, if you're really sure...
Run, clever boy, and remember.
Reviews would be highly appreciated!
