God Bless,

Sarah

He couldn't look into the boy's eyes any longer.

He saw it; The hurt, the betrayal...

The anger.

Remus couldn't take it; it isn't like he had intended for this to happen, but it also wasn't as if he had any choice, but to resign.

He knew how Harry felt; It was hard when people walked out of your life, but it had happened to Remus so much in his life that he had come to understand it...and in some, odd way, he had come to embrace it.

He leaned against his desk, looking sympathetically down at Harry, who had suddenly found his shoes quite interesting.

Remus sighed and waved his wand, so his bags strated packing everything he gathered together without magic. His eyes caught the Mauruader's Map laying on his desk side. He picked it up and cleared his throat, and Harry looked up at him.

Remus grabbed his cloak and levitated his bags before coming to stand beside Harry. Finally they looked into each other's eyes again.

"Since I'm no longer you're professor, I feel no guilt whatsoever in giving this back to you," he smiled. "I know it's in good hands."

Harry furrowed his eyebrows, but nodded and took it greatfully; it could indeed come in handy alot.

"Thanks, professor."

"Please, call me Remus."

Harry nodded and watched his ex-professor walk to the front door of his old classroom, and still the hurt in his eyes betrayed his heart. He held more than hurt. He held bitter tears; he held anger and confusion..

He had trusted Remus. Trusted him completely.

He hadn't trusted someone like that since last year, and now he thought he could just walk away? Walk away, and never be heard from again?

Remus turned to him that second, as though he could read his thoughts, and tried smiling.

"Harry, don't worry," he paused, then pressed out the words Harry needed most; the only words he needed to hear. "I feel sure we'll meet again sometime."
