The Return

Noodle and Russel had arrived that afternoon on Plastic Beach, Noodle stepping on the plastic landfill of an island after the attack was over. Almost as soon as she did, she'd practically torn Cyborg Noodle to shreds and left only wires, some hair, and chunks of metal behind; Murdoc was furious.
The bassist calmed down eventually; when he did, he finally acknowledged their presence with a surprised glance while Noodle admired the island calmly.
"So, this is Plastic Beach," it was more of a statement than a question. Murdoc said nothing in response but simply watched the two previously missing band mates.
"You got bigger, lard ass. Didn' even thin tha' was possible," Murdoc snickered, trying to lighten the mood. His grin disappeared though when Russel grabbed him by the collar and dropped him into the polluted water. Murdoc was growling as he swam and dragged himself onto the shore.
The entrance door opened and 2D stepped out nervously, he had seen Russel when he'd thrown the whale in the air and was hoping it wasn't just a pill-induced hallucination. When he spotted the drummer, he rushed over. The blue haired man had almost reached him when he passed by the mask clad youth. He had just reached Russel when he registered the woman's presence and how familiar she was: short, black hair, a slight but noticeable feminine figure, and there was something else… He froze in his tracks and whipped around, then yelled out:
"Noodle!"
Yeah... I wrote this a year ago and I edited it a bit. Like I said, it's really short, but good enough for me to post it. It's my take on how I think the reunion would go, only with less injuries from Noodle to Murdoc. My original plan was for this to be a one-shot, but if you like it, I just might give some consideration for more chapters. Translation: Please review!
