There were seven letters. Seven letters would make up the one word, and each represented a feeling or problem of the individual.

G was for Grief…

All his life, it was nothing but heartache, sadness and tragedy. Always he would lose someone and be told, or forced to move on, but move on to exactly what? The exact same thing just happened to him over and over again, he just lost more of whom and what he loved, and the worst of it was Terra. She had made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him and just wanted to live her own life to forget her past, including what they shared. "Things Change, Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory."

O was for Obscurity…

That was all he ever felt he was to anyone, even if he did something right. Normally he was excluded from certain activities the other Titans did, mainly because he didn't understand anything of what was going on, or they just plain didn't want to have him around. He helped catch a lot of bad guys, including stopping the brotherhood of evil, and all he ever got from other people in town were insults, alienation, and various other uncalled for things.

"Why is that dog green?"

"Ew and it smells like old pizza!"

"Shoo, go away!"

"She's not interested."

"Yeah, get lost, Brat Boy!"

O was for Ostracized…

As if feeling obscure wasn't enough for him, nobody seemed to think highly of any of his characteristics, his goofing off or telling lame jokes or anything else he did, mainly because he was trying to move on from his hurtful past and keep his inner pain sealed away, and maybe, just maybe try to fit in with people he hoped would accept him, instead it was just the opposite, unless they needed him in battle when his skills were required, and then he was swept under the rug again.

Raven among all of them even voiced out loud all his faults…

"You're rude! You're smelly! You're annoying! You say "Bro" and "Dude" too much! I hate the color green! Your voice irritates me! Tofu makes me sick! You're irresponsible! All you do is play video games! You can't tie a tie! You're messy! You chew with your mouth open! Your face gives me the creeps! Your jokes are dumb! Your pranks are stupid! Your dancing embarrasses me! You're lazy! You're dumber than the animals you turn into! Your clothes are always covered in pizza stains!"

Even if some of it was true… he wasn't without feelings.

D was for Desecration…

If anything that could describe his life and how it stood now, and pretty much always had been, that was perfect. So much ruin and destruction, it was like every time he tried to rebuild and move on, something else came along to smash it all to pieces again. This time… all the king's horses and all the king's men could never put this mess together again.

B was for Broken hearted…

Now
there was something he knew too well, and it was eating him alive every second. How could she do this to him? All they had gone through, he remembered the last words she said to him…"You were the best friend… that I ever had."…and then she came back, but not as the girl he remembered. She faked having amnesia and losing her powers just because she wanted to forget him and live a better life for herself, as if his feelings didn't matter to her at all.

What could be more painful and a finer example of the outmost betrayal?

Y was for Yield…

There was no more questioning about it. He couldn't go on like this anymore, and he didn't have to. He had a choice; he could end it all, end the hurting, end his misery, and never have anything harm him again.

So he crept into Robin's room while he wasn't there, and took one of the grappling lines. Then he retreated to his bedroom, shot the grappling into the celling, making sure it was good and strong, and then tied the line tightly around his neck.

Finally, there was E for Ending…!

He took in one huge breath, and a single tear rolled down his cheek and splashed on the floor. "Goodbye!" he cried, and leapt off the top-bunk of his bed, hanging himself and taking his life!

Starfire passed by his open bedroom door as she hovered down the hall, and what she saw made her scream! The others heard and arrived to see the most horrible thing they had ever seen, but it was already too late. Cyborg did his medical scans with his computer. "He's gone!" he cried.

Starfire burst into tears, and Raven tried with all her might, but she couldn't hide her own tears. Robin was speechless and very heartbroken, and Cyborg he didn't know if he was more sad or angry as he gazed at Beast Boy's dead body. "You crazy, sick, sonava-"

Before long, the Titans had big funeral for him, and the news quickly spread throughout the town that Beast Boy committed suicide. When asked of Beast Boy's motive, the Titans couldn't understand why he would do such a thing.

There was however, one person in all of town who possibly knew a good reason why. Terra had heard the news as she passed by a store with TV's in the window covering the news. "Beast Boy!" she felt her heart breaking in half, and instead of continuing her way to school, she walked into a dark and secluded alley, and burst into tears. "I'm sorry…" she sobbed "I didn't want you die!"

Nothing she could cry, say or do would reverse the facts. It was over, he was gone. The game was over! Now no one would ever be able to play him for fool or a tool ever again!
