Foreword

Here's a little poem from Jack's point of view after Barbossa's mutiny .I wrote this afters a conversation with a friend about dark poetry. Also slightly based a line from Jack at the end of "The curse of the black pearl" "they've done what's right by them can't expect more than that". Disclaimer: I don't own any Jack Sparrow (no matter how hard I wish) he belongs to Disney. Enjoy!

You can't trust anyone in this world

Especially not so -called friends

Lying traitors the lot of 'um

Friends are people who pretend to care about you

But will stab you in the back at the first opportunity they get

Just to get their own ends

But I don't blame them; I don't point the finger and cry "How could you?!?"

Because I know they've done what's right by them and you can't expect more than that

What's more I know that in half their situations I would have done the same thing

Because deep down I think we all know that us pirates are nothing but:

Cheating, laying, betraying, thieving, murdering bastards.

Authors note:

Sooooooooo let me know what you think. At the moment I'm more likely to write more poems because I don't have much time to write stories, but I'll try my best to gets a good mixture of stuff posted.
