Edward's POV
I jumped in the car and hit the gas. Speeding out of Forks, trying to get as far away as I could.
Her face, God her face! What have I done? I made that look of pain cover her face with those horrible things I said.
"I don't love you. I never did."
How could she believe me? I've told her again and again I loved her.
No, No this is what I wanted. For her to move on, to find some human boy that doesn't put her in danger every second, of every minute, of every day.
I sighed. I need to forget. Forget her, forget how soft skin was, forget her scent, forget her smiling at me, forget her saying she loved me. Forget how much I miss her, love her, and forget that I'll always love her, forever and always.
I grabbed a random CD from where they were scattered on the passenger seat and stuck it in the CD player.
The first some was some thing I've never heard before. Alice must have added some new songs to my CD's.
As the song started I stopped thinking, breathing, and moving. I gave myself over to the lyrics.

This band is singing my thoughts. How could her love me and others but not show any love for herself. I tried to help her with that but she never got it.

A human boy can ease her pain could help her move on to live a normal life.

My car swerves hitting a tree. I cry out loud wishing I could cry real tears and ease my pain a bit. I love her but I can't go back. Someone else can help her. I've got to get as far away as possible before I go running back to her asked for forgiveness. So I do. I get up out of the car and ran. I'll run anywhere as long as it's as far away from here. And as I'm running away I here the last couple o words from that beautiful true song.
