A/N: I've been obsessed with Purgatory ever since that shocking season finale. Season 8 should be beyond fantastic, there is no doubt in my mind about that.
Sam prepared the final ingredients, feigning confidence. He missed Dean so much, wanted to hug him so tightly he couldn't breathe. Doubts were rampant in him; what if he failed?
Everything had to be perfect. His sole mission was to trap Dean in the circle, make sure that Purgatory or anyone else for that matter couldn't suck him back.
He swallowed down sudden panic, he'd go to hell and back again for Dean, suppress all his tears and regrets.
"You'll be back soon, Dean. Soon I'll have you all to myself."
Within him, Lucifer watched with bated breath and grinned.
