This is a little story I thought up when I was eating cherries. There is a story that if you can tie a cherry stem in your mouth with your tongue then you are supposedly a good kisser...

It was an early spring evening, and outside on the balcony Rei sat on a large swing, shadowed by a large cherry blossom tree that grew beside the balcony. As he sat, he was at intervals, eating big, ripe cherries from a large green bowl while watching the sun go down.

"What am I going to do? I love Kai, but I don't know if he loves me. I'm too afraid to tell him, and even if I do, he might reject me and never speak to me again..." Rei's face showed that he was greatly troubled, so much that it attracted the attention of a certain someone...

Kai's POV

"Sigh...what am I gonna do? I love Rei but I don't know if he loves me back... I'm so confused..." Kai was laying on top of his made bed, his arms behind his head. He ran a hand through his hair while staring at Rei. "He looks troubled...wonder what about..." Getting up from his bed in the room he and Rei shared, he walked onto the balcony, over to Rei, and leaned on the swing.

Rei's POV

I heard a faint sound, so I turned my head and saw Kai leaning against the swing in the usual Kai-pose, arms crossed and head down. "Hello, Kai." "Oh my god. How did I get that out without stuttering? Damn, there's the 9th wonder of the world...geeze, get it together, Kon."

Third POV

"Hey. What are you doing Rei?"

"Eating cherries and watching the sunset. Do you want to know something?"

"What about?"

"Something about cherry stems.." Plugging in a sexy tone to his voice, Kai replied with a small smirk on his lips at the sight of one very wide eyed kitten.

"What about cherry stems?"

"Well.. their is a story saying that if you can tie a cherry stem in your mouth with your tongue, then.."

"Then what?" Rei almost fell out of the swing at the sexiness of Kai's voice.

"Then...you'll be a good.." "Yes..?"

"K-kkisser..." Rei finally managed to mew out.

"Really.." Kai reached over and plucked a cherry out of Rei's hand, and putting it in his mouth. Just when Rei was about to die of the closeness, Kai pulled back. By now the sun was low in sky, illuminating both the young teen's faces. In a few seconds, though, Kai leaned in again, making Rei blush a light pink. Kai moved in closer, there noses almost touching. Rei tilted his head upwards, allowing Kai's lips to claim his. When they parted, Rei spoke.

"I guess I was right."

"About what?" at that, Rei removed something from Kai's slightly open mouth, setting it on the seat next to him. Then they kissed again, with the sun dropping in the background. Who knew that one little thing could forge a relationship....

It was a cherry stem, tied in the middle.
