First Percy Jackson Fanfic which I randomly thought of in class. Don't make me feel lousy.

This is a sequence of events which happened between Thalia and Luke.

Disclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson or anything else mentioned.

Luke POV (The Demigod Diaries; when they met Hal Green, but before that were chasing Amaltheia.)

"You coming?" hissed Thalia, her blue eyes scrutinizing impulsively at me.

I blinked. "Are we seriously going to follow the goat?" I hissed back.

She put her finger to her lips, her face tight with anxiety. I knew better than to question her. The goat stopped to gnaw on the green pasture. Maybe Special Agent Goat was taking a lunch break. I had to grin to that thought.

"It's eating? What does that mean?" Thalia sounded so laughably concerned, that I started to snicker without realizing.

"It's not funny!" she sneered back. "Now, be quiet and watch the goat".

I forced myself to stop smiling; but instead of watching the goat nourish himself, I ventured to look at Thalia instead. She was concentrating on the goat like a bull's eye. Her dark and short choppy hair was trailing behind her back and the sides of her face. She was dressed in black leather which gives off the punk aura which I find how do I put it? Attractive? Her piercing blue eyes can alone force a door to open.

And it wasn't just that, she is also an unbelievable sword-fighter. We've picked up weapons from the dragon cave in Charleston (Which is also the place that we first met, thanks for asking) and she slayed that reptile like a serious Greek warrior. Hot, Bet not many guys get to see and meet a girl like that.

"What are spacing out for?" Thalia demanded, "Did you see that?"

I snapped back into focus and was completely perplexed. "Sorry, didn't get that. What happened?"

Thalia frowned in dissatisfaction. "You moron. She went to Main Highway". She stood up and pointed south which nested a bunch of houses. "Come on, we have to catch up to her".

Her? I wrinkled my nose and stood beside her. "How could tell it's a girl?"

She shrugged uncomfortably. "It has udders, so I just assumed it was a girl".

She was an expert on farm animals. I rest my case.

"Lead the way, Bailey Pickett. You don't want to lose your goat".

It's the first chapter, so it was pretty short. Please R/R!
