It was hot there were no cases and everyone was bored and sick of paper work. Jane was especially bored but he got an idea...
"hey lisbonnnnn"
"ugh what Jane"
"come out her for a sec would ya"
"do I have too"
"yes"
"fiiiiine"
Lisbon made her way out of her office wondering what Jane was up to, just like the rest of the team she had know idea what to expect.
"ok Lisbon I need you too sit down"
"why"
"because I said so"
"ok what next"
"look into my eyes"
Lisbon looked deep into his eyes... well as deep as she could without completely melting.
"Now I want you to project all your energy to me"
"umm ok?"
"now I want you to let your thoughts run free, think about anything and anything... but don't look away from me."
"yep ok"
a minute later...
"ok your ready now"
"ready for what exactly"
"ok I now know what you are thinking"
"no you don't"
"yes I do, I got you to send your thoughts to me"
"that's stupid.. ok then what am I thinking"
"your thinking how long is this going to take"
"haha no I wasn't"
"ok then what were you thinking"
" I was thinking... if you really new what I was thinking you would have your shirt off already"
Every ones mouth dropped even Lisbon... everyone except for Jane..Lisbon ran to her office and slammed her door shut, she was as red as a tomato.
"haha that was so worth it"
"Jane... what the hell did you do"
"calm down van pelt that was a truth mind relapse trick I got her to say what she was really thinking"
cho looked up from his book and shook his head...
"so you practically got her to admit she wants you after how many years? And your still standing her"
"not to mention the fact that she is probably in her office balling her eyes out"
"van pelt cho... you guys want to go get lunch"
"yeah good idea"
so the rest of the team left and Jane made her way to Lisbons office,
** knock knock **
"what Jane"
"i just want to talk"
"NO! you humiliated me in front of everyone"
"come on Lisbon please"
"no."
"if it makes you feel better il do something just as embarrassing to myself"
"hmm do it then I will "decide"
"ok here goes"
Jane walked out into the middle of the office and whistled as loud as he could...
"LISTEN UP EVERYONE I HAVE SOME THING TO SAY"
At that moment cho rigsby and van pelt walked back in...and everyone looked at Jane in anticipation.
"Ok a few of you may have just seen what I did to agent Lisbon... well really only van pelt cho and rigsby but anyway I humiliated her and I promised I would do something just as bad... I'm not sure if everyone knows but My wife and daughter were killed and it has taken me many years to get over them, I will always love them but there comes a time when you have to move on and I think now is that time... since I started working at the CBI I have fallen madly in love with special agent Teresa Lisbon and I hope she feels the same way as I do about her, I hope she can put her past behind her and make a knew one with me because the truth is I love her and I don't care if I'm fired or if I never catch red John because she means the world to me.
The whole office was clapping madly and Lisbon was in her office in tears... she came running out and jumped on the desk Jane was standing on..
" Patrick Jane... you STUPID JERK... I love you too."
everyone clapped again and Jane grabbed her span her around and kissed her with all the passion he could muster and she kissed back... she grabbed his blonde curls in between her fingers and kissed him until the could kiss each other no more... they loved each other and that was all there was to it.
