Adrien was not amused.

At.

All.

"Plagg… what are you doing?"

"Huh?" The kwami moved so that he could see Adrien. Behind him, his wife of one year and three months giggled, as well as Tikki. Adrien looked ready to blow a blood vessel.

"I'm going to only ask once more." Adrien said slowly. "Why are you licking my birthday cake?"

"Uhh…" Plagg blinked. "I woke up and saw a huge yellow circle that looked like cheese!" He defended.

Adrien was not convinced.

Marinette's giggles became harder to hide as Tikki suddenly burst into all-out laughter, falling onto the table.

"Plagg."

"Yes?" Plagg asked almost hesitantly.

"You better run."

"Why?"

"Because if I get to your cheese stash before you do it's all getting thrown out."

"NOOOOOOOOOO~!" Plagg exclaimed, rushing out of the room and right after Adrien. While years of being super heroes had made Adrien fast, Plagg was a small demigod of destruction. He zoomed past his chosen and into the pantry set apart specifically for him and Tikki.

As fast as his small paws and tiny body would allow, he moved all of his precious Camembert cheese in a far safer and harder to reach location than it had been. Adrien threw open the door just as Plagg was moving the last of the cheese.

Adrien made a hasty grab for the kwami and his cheese, but Plagg avoided it with ease. Adrien growled.

"You'll pay for it later."

Adrien slammed the door in the kwami's face, but that didn't stop Plagg from phasing through the door. Tikki flew up to him, laughter now more controlled.

That didn't mean that she had stopped.

"Couldn't you read the top before you saw it?" She asked.

"I wasn't paying attention." Plagg grumbled in reply.

"That was obvious."

"It's not funny."

"Yes it is." Tikki giggled as they both turned to watch their chosen. "It's not like it's your birthday or anything."

"Of course it's not." Plagg scoffed. "Besides, I think that what I did actually helped." Tikki sent Plagg an amused look as the kwami puffed his chest out in pride.

"Oh?"

"He has absolutely no idea what Marinette's got in store for him." Plagg continued. "He's been suspecting, but he doesn't know that she's gonna tell him today or that he's right. I distracted him from guessing the surprise!"

"Oh. And here I thought it was just your cat instincts again." Tikki rolled her eyes, and Plagg wrapped a paw around her and kissed her cheek.

"What can I say? My instincts tell me only the finest. And you are just as fine as my dear Camembert."

"If you say so."

Meanwhile, Marinette's held a small gift bag out for Adrien to see.

"Here, kitty." She said, kissing him on the cheek. "You know Plagg didn't mean it."

"Milady, you didn't have to."

"Trust me." Marinette's smirked. "I did." Adrien gave her a confused look, but he shrugged off his confusion and opened up the gift box. Instantly he looked back up.

"Are you serious?" He asked, jaw dropped. Marinette giggled and flicked his nose.

"What do you think, Adrien?" She asked. Adrien instantly swooped down for a kiss before placing his hands on her stomach. Marinette's hands rested on top of his.

"We're gonna be a family." He breathed, looking back up at her. Marinette smiled and kissed his nose.

"Yes, chaton. We are."

"Did you finally tell him?" Plagg asked. "I want my prize for keeping it secret."

"PLAGG!" Marinette and Tikki shouted, and Adrien glared at him from over his shoulder.

"What?" The kwami asked. "Is it bad that I just want my cheese?"
