Rain angrily pounded the streets of the city below as the wind howled like a pack of wolves descending upon a kill. The storm had moved in faster than anyone had anticipated and showed little sign of letting up anytime soon.

Beneath the streets deep within the sewers, four brothers paced around anxiously in their makeshift lair they called home.

"Uggggggggggggh, dudes I can't take this anymore!" Mikey the youngest flopped down on the couch with an exaggerated groan. He patted his stomach in distress as it let out a loud rumble.

"Oh relax Mikey, the pizza should be here any minute now" Donnie tried to reassure his brother, although he didn't quiet believe it himself. He too felt the affects of hunger weighing in.

"Bro you said that like an hour ago" Raphael growled through gritted teeth. He slouched on the couch opposite of Mikey, his arms crossed with a sour look on his face.

"... it's only been fifteen minutes since I placed the order!" Donnie replied with a shrill voice and his hands on his hips.

"Fifteen minutes!? Is that all!?" Leo poked his head up from the latest issue of tales from the cosmos.

"You guys do realize that they actually have to make the pizza right?" Donnie felt like the only reasonable one.

Leo frowned and dug his nose back into his comic disappointed. He impatiently tapped his fingers on the cover.

"Hmph!" Mikey rested his chin against the arm of the chair pulling his legs off the ground and stretching them along the length of the couch. He puffed his cheeks and whimpered softly to himself.

"OH MY GOD!" Leo shouted.

Raph, Mikey and Donnie all shot up instinctively; hands readied at their weapons as they looked to Leo for instruction.

He casually glanced up from his comic and noticed the others staring at him intensely. "Space slugs.. who would have guessed" he chuckled nervously as he smile up at them embarrassed. Their faces dropped in annoyance before relaxing.

Only Seconds passed when a loud boom echoed throughout the sewers. The lights flickered rapidly before going out all together. A high pitch scream matched the thunder above.

All eyes were on Raph. His eyes shifted back and forth before slowly fading into the darkness until he was out of sight of his brothers surprised faces.

"What the hell was that!?" Leo turns to the other two generally amazed.

"I don't know, but it was AWESOME!" Mikey burst out laughing.

Donnie disappeared momentarily and returned with his head goggles on, illuminating the room slightly. He looked around until he found Raph crossed armed leaning up against the wall near the sewer entrance. He felt slightly bad at his brothers embarrassment.

Mikey walked over to the hot headed ninja. "Aw bro, don't sweat it. There's plenty of things I'm afraid of" he placed his arm around his shoulder.

"Yeah, well I ain't afraid of nothing!" Raph barked pushing Mikey's hand away.

Mikey frowned.

Raph noticed and sighed. "Come on bro, let's see if donnie can get the lights back on" he patted Mikey's back and joined the others.
