You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
In the depths of a forest, there are two figure dancing away to one of the figures soft hums. They danced to their hearts content.
"This is nice" The shortest of the two commented.
"yea… it's nice to relax once in awhile" The taller one responded relaxed.
"We should start heading back, ne Eren?" The shortest stated looking at the sun slowly falling in the sky. Eren looks to the sky with a surprised face.
"I could've sworn it was brighter out a minute ago… but I guess you're right, Levi" Eren responded with a slight blush on his face. The two had gotten so caught up in the moment they forgot about everything else but each other. The two started to head back to headquarters as the moon flew into the middle of the night sky.
You make me happy
'This can't be happening' Levi thought as he watched Eren being escorted to the center of the wooden platform in front of him. He watches as they make eren stand in the center for everyone to see. The king stands off to the right and watches with smirk on his face. Mikasa and Armin stand behind me with tear streaked faces.
When skies are grey
Tears fall from Levi's eyes as he smiles towards Eren who's tears fall like a river after a bad rain storm. 'Eren...' Levi clenches his fists as he watches the guards work on something towards the back of the platform.
You'll never know dear
Two guards walk up to Eren and one puts a rope around Eren's neck. The king steps forward to speak to the crowd.
"We are here to witness the execution of Eren Jaeger. The boy who can turn into a titan, has he is a threat to the humans who live behind the walls."
How much I love you
Levi suddenly pushes past the people in front of him and gets to the front of the crowd. Several guards run to stop him and hold him back as he continues trying to fight his way past them. "Stop! Please don't do this!" He yells towards the king. Mikasa and Armin cry harder at Levi's protests.
Please don't take….
Eren meets Levi's gaze and smiles while tears pour from his beautiful emerald colored eyes. Levi then tries fighting harder against the guards in front of him.
"..." Levi's eyes widen at what Eren.
My Sunshine...
Levi watches as the guards on stage hang the rope.
"No!" Levi screams and gets free from the guards hold for a second before they are holding him back again. Mikasa falls to her knees as Armin can only stand frozen at what he's been forced to witness.
Away
Levi then falls to the ground sobbing into his hands.
"Why…" Levi asks.
"He didn't do anything wrong…" Levi looks up to the sky. Hanje and Erwin come and grab Levi to bring him back to the scouting headquarters.
Those beautiful emerald eyes…
Always so full of determination…
"It's okay… Levi…"
Those words…
Why choose to break my heart…
With those…
As your last words…
'Eren wait for me...' Levi thought. 'I'll join you after I complete your goal...'
"I'll kill all the titans for you…. Eren... " Levi held onto the necklace and then bolted out of the wall doors on horseback. As Levi rode of the key around his neck blew gently in the wind.
I know what you're thinking. Again hurting us with your feels!
