Hermione couldn't believe it. How could it have happened? She had been so sure of herself, and now she wasn't sure about anything.

And there she was, and Hermione thought she looked very smug indeed. Of course she was overreacting; she had on the same expression as usual.

"Just admit it, Hermione. You were wrong. I was right. The proof is right here."

Hermione took a deep breath, and said, "Fine, Luna, you were right. There is such thing as a Crumple- Horned Snorlack." and glared at the creature next to the Ravenclaw who simply let out a funny hoot noise with a smug smile. Luna just smiled and let out a delighted laugh, then walked off.

Sometimes, life just wasn't fair.
