A quick Sonnet I wrote for when I had to perform Act 5 scene 1 of A midsummer night's dream. It's not the greatest thing. But oh well.
We welcome you to our marvelous play.
Where a midsummer nights dream meets it's end.
The Magnum Opus you shall see today.
To a tragedy our couples attend.
All ends well in the penultimate scene.
Lovers fines lover, and all is as it should.
Helena is glad, that shouldn't have been
But pucks intentions are misunderstood.
Pyramus and thisbe, a tragedy.
Our lovers finish their perilous waltz.
Although the rest is all a comedy.
But is it true? Or is it just all false.
Cause what is true love, If not forever.
For magic is what brought them together.
