After everyone finishes dancing i bit tobias's thumb and run away. He chases after me and i just squeal. I lay on the ground and pretend i am the floor. Uriah trips on me and cusses loudly. I cant make out what he said so i get up shoves him to the ground and run into the wall. "Whoops forget i wasnt going to hogwarts" i scream at Uriah. He just lays there staring at me. I run back to the chasm and stare at it. i walk around the perimeter of it thinking with just a little push i could fall and die. Tobias sees me and screams. I start cracking up at the sound of him. My foots slips and im dangeling. My shoe is caught and thats the only thing keeping me up. At that moment the peace serum wears off and i start screaming. Tobias runs over and looks at me. I can tell he is thinking about what he is gonna do. The cold water splahses my face. He trys to lean down but everything is wet. "I'm fine let me fall" i say to him. "Never" he says. he lays on his stomache and trys to bend down. Im shivering from the ice cold water splashing my face. I see his hand and try to grab it. I bend up and i see my shoe start to move. I squeal and bend back down. I'm scared my shoe with fall if i move anymore."You have to drop" he says. "What i you crazy"i say. "Listen you have to drop down and try to hold on to that ledge i know its damp but if you can get to that ledge i can pick you up" he explains. I try to open my mouth and say something but i cant. "You have to trust me!" he yells. I close my eyes jerk my foot and drop. I hit the ledge hard on my back and try to hold on. The water makes it hard to hold on and i start to lose my grip. Tobias reaches out a hand and pulls me up. I dont let go.
