Summary: It's the night of the lunar eclipse and Elsa and Anna's (biological) daughters are giddy to see it.
Tonight is the night
It's 2:14 in the morning, the lunar eclipse is about to grace Arendelle with its presence. The greatest view of it from Arendelle would be from the Princess's daughter's room, anywhere else would be from either the beaches or the North Mountain.
One little Princess in the castle was wide awake and she climbed out of her bed to look out the window, the moon was slowly turning black and disappearing into the dark sky, signaling that the eclipse was about to be complete.
"Ivory! Psst! Ivory!" The little Princess whispered as she jumped on her cousin, whose nickname is Ivory (due to her pale skin color), [and] the real name for her frosty cousin is Amethyst. "What is it, Myriam?" She moaned, opening one of her bluish-purple eyes. "Get up Ivory! It's the eclipse, it's happening right now!"
Ivory shot up, "Really?" she asked, wanting her little cousin to tell her if it's true. Myriam nodded through her blond bangs. Ivory jumped out of her bed, dashing to her little cousin's room, eager to see the red moon in the sky. A tiny trail of frost was left in the excited Amethyst's wake. The door to Myriam's room was already open.
Amethyst ran up to the large window and sat on the cushioned seat while Myriam followed suite. They watched the moon disappear for a moment then start to appear again, but it wasn't pale gray, it was red. "It's actually happening... The moon's turning red..." Amethyst commented with awe, Myriam's hands were shaking from the excitement.
The eldest Princess wrapped her arms around her 8 year old little cousin, embracing her tightly. "It's beautiful." Myriam murmured, still gazing up at the rusty red moon. "It is rather beautiful, isn't it?" A gentle voice asked, not belonging to either one of the little girls. Turning their heads around they saw Amethyst's parents.
The current Queen and King of Arendelle stood in front of the doorway. "Mom? How'd you...?" Queen Elsa raised a hand to silence her 10 year old daughter. "We heard a noise, we just came to check on you and see if you were alright." Ivory spoke up, "Well, we are ok. We were watching the eclipse." The Queen's husband, King Amund, grinned, "We wanted to watch it also. Mind if we can join in?"
The Princesses looked at each other before turning to the adults still standing and nodded. "Sure." The girls said in unison before looking and jinxing each other twice, yet again, in unison. The King and Queen sat down beside the children.
They watched the eclipse for three hours. Amethyst and Myriam were already sleeping by the time it was over. Elsa carried Myriam to her pink and green bed while Amethyst was carried by Amund into her indigo colored room.
Good night little ones...
