Prompt was Airplane

Mac let out a sigh of relaxation as he reclined his seat back. An hour ago he and Stella had taken off on a flight from JFK airport headed to Greece. Two weeks of sun, sand and his newly appointed wife in that little black bikini he'd bought her yesterday. He smiled as his thumb ran over the smooth metal of the wedding ring on her finger; there was a matching ring on his. Never again did he think he'd be married, not after the heartache of losing Claire, but Stella was there to help pull him back together. Not trying to change him or mold him into who she thought he should be, how he should act. Rather she was the glue that kept him together, allowing him to take whatever shape would be best for his life.

He heard her giggle and slowly opened his eyes, wondering what had caused the reaction. He raised an eyebrow questioningly at her. Her eyes were bright, warm as she smiled at him, indicating with her head toward the front of the plane. He turned and looked to see a young couple sneak into the plane's lavatory. There wasn't much question as to what they were planning on doing. He turned back to look at his wife, amusement on his face.

"Don't even think about suggesting we do that next."

Stella laughed out loud that time. "Don't worry, I won't. I can honestly say I never had the desire to try it out, especially after we processed that bathroom on that flight you were on a few years back. Besides, I don't want to wear you out before we get to Greece. I've got plans for you Mac Taylor."

Mac smiled as she went back to reading her book. He slowly allowed his eyes to close again as he squeezed her hand in his. "As long as they involve time with my wife, I'm all for it."
