Paradise- a Wolfs Rain story
Maibe: This is the result of me being bored, watching Wolfs Rain and having the urge to write something.
Magdalene: Plus she always wanted to know what it's like to be a wolf.
Maibe: This is just a random she-wolf roaming around in search of Paradise not any character from Wolfs Rain
Magdalene: Maibe does not own Wolfs Rain, only the lone she-wolf who is confronted by Kiba
The smell of lunar-flowers lingered in the air, masked by the stench of Noble filth. They had no right to hide the aroma of that beautiful flower, made solely for wolves. Many of our kind have searched for its origin, none ever returning.
Humans believe we wolves are the cause of all evil in the world… What a lie. We were placed in this world to send messages not to be hunted down. Our forests and mountains stripped bare, forcing us out of hiding. Many of us slaughtered on sight. Those of us still alive must keep our true selves a secret.
We can easily blend in. Humans take no notice of us. Those who are captured are foolish or mentally unstable, which is why they die. Which is why they never found our safe haven. Which is why they searched aimlessly. They do not know what they are looking for even though it calls out to them. That scent of the illusive bud. Mocking our noses. Nimbly moving out of paws reach. Dancing in front of our muzzles. Sending us to our graves.
A howl shattered my thoughts as I trudged though the falling snow. My ears twitch not believing what they are hearing. My head lifts and I see them. Four wolves. An odd pack, consisting of only males. They must be following the scent of the moon blossoms, as we are heading in the same direction. I move cautiously to them, not knowing how they will react to a lone she-wolf. The leader steps forward, his liquid gold eyes boring into mine. I stare straight back, standing my ground against the large white creature.
"Don't you know it's dangerous to move around without a pack? Where are you heading?"
"To Paradise."
Maibe: I've decided the she-wolf's name is gonna be Amaya
Magdalene: Why Amaya?
Maibe: Cause it means Night Rain (playing off on the title of Wolfs Rain)
Blue: Huh? I wasn't even in this fanstory
Maibe: That's because it plays off in episode 3/4!
Blue: Oh.
Maibe: Don't worry! You still one of my favs! (hugs Blue)
Hige: Please review! (turns to Maibe) Now stop hugging Blue!
Maibe: No! My wolfdog!
