A/N: Here it goes, the story that has haunted me for three years now. Lifted off my chest through fan-fiction. Let's do this.
Prologue:
And as I stared into his eyes, looking into mine, I remembered where this whole fiasco began.
I had met him on the first day of 9th grade, in my 5th period science class. I can recall turning around on that first day when the teacher was calling role and I heard heard his velvety voice say "Here." I can also, no doubt, remember the violent look he gave me when I looked into his deep emerald eyes. I turned back around and hadn't looked at him in the eyes for the rest of that year.
Of course, all of that changed in 10th grade when I had orchestra with him and english, both classes in a row. 5th and 6th period. That was the year we had, The Bowden. No, not Ms. Bowden. The Bowden. That lady scared the shit out of me. She had sat me next to the elusive, Edward Cullen. Just fucking fantastic. He hated me, and now I had to be partners with him.
I think though, what scared me more then The Bowden, was when Edward tapped me on the arm and gave me a small smile the first day of 10th grade. Peircing green eyes and thick black lashes, reddish brown, coppery hair, "Bella, you know me right? I had your science class last year... and orchestra class this year.. and english," he asked.
I'm sure I was sporting a shocked expression when I finally snapped out of my daze and replied. "Yeah, of course I know who you are, Edward."
"Just checking," he chuckled.
I can remember when I knew I liked him.
I was still in 10th grade, it was christmas break, Alice and I were in my room playing a simple game of truth or dare, as we always did. Which I must admit, was pretty boring when it was just two people, when she asked the infamous, "Truth or Dare?"
I thought for a moment, "....Truth."
"Do you like Edward?"
"Edward Cullen?" I asked dubiously. I had never entertained the idea of liking Edward. All though, he was very good-looking and we were now friends, I had never thought of him as more then that...until that moment.
"Of course," she huffed, " what other Edward do you know?"
"Right..."
"Soooo?"
"Um...I..I think I do."
"I knew it!," she squealed and flung herself at me, pinning me in a tight hug, "Bella you're like a book to read! However, I think I read the book before you could even pick it off the shelves this time," she said laughing.
The rest of 10th grade went something along the lines of subtle glances, tiny giggles and short conversations. And with every one of those subtle glances, tiny giggles and short conversations, I fell deeper and deeper into this whole I was, to this day, still stuck in. Two years later.
Now, I looked into his lust-filled eyes and numbly nodded. This was going to make or break everything... including my heart.
A/N: The events in this story are mostly true, and I think would make an entertaining story.. so here we are. Since it's Christmas time, all of my stories will be updated after this whole mess gets sorted out. Happy Holidays ~TF1020.
