Maya was sent out to deliver some old case files to the prosecutor's office. Maya went through the garage and into the basement of the building. She had to wait for the elevator with a group of people. Once she got on she was pushed into the back. She had to press the files to her chest because there were too many people.
She sighed once the doors open on her floor. She pushed her way out. She brushed the front of her kimono off and then made her way to the high prosecutor's office. She knocked on the door before opening it. Maya found Edgeworth sitting in his chair with his back to the door. He seemed completely absorbed in something. Maya tiptoed over and placed the files down on the desk quietly.
"Blast it! Why can't I get passed this foolish thing…" She heard Edgeworth mumble and then she heard a strange tapping sound. Maya made her way over to the chair as silently as she could manage. She began to hear some strange music come from his lap and wondered if he had a small radio.
She peeked over his should and gasped. Edgeworth turned around quickly and had the exasperated face of someone who had just been caught doing something bad.
"What are you doing here Maya!?" He asked and tried to cover up the evidence.
"Why are you playing a game Edgeworth?" She said ignoring his question. She had her arms down in front of her and her mouth was open in shock.
Edgeworth's cheeks were tinged pink and coughed to help compose himself. "Well you see… I was taking a break…"
Maya didn't buy it at all. She smirked and snatched the small gaming system away from the prosecutor. She turned it on and gasped again. "Really Edgeworth a dancing game!?" She took out the small pen and started to tap the screen. Edgeworth then sprang up and went after her. Maya expertly avoided Edgeworth's attempts at trying to take the game back from her.
Maya laughed and looked down at the screen. "Awww come on! Let me try it please?" She asked with big eyes and a cute pout.
Edgeworth coughed again and straightened his cravat. He took a deep breath and looked at Maya. "I suppose so. I am stuck at this one part any way…" He folded his arms and looked at the girl. Maya smiled brightly and went to sit on the couch. She started to tap on the screen to pick the level. Edgeworth followed her over and peered over the girl's shoulder.
Maya played the game skillfully and without a furrowed brow. Edgeworth scowled a little. 'How could a girl do it so easily in one try?! I have been playing for hours on end and couldn't' finish this one stupid song!'
"Oh this is really fun Edgeworth! Where did you get it?" Maya asked as she watched the end of the story for that song. She giggled since it had a funny ending.
Edgeworth went back over to his desk and sat down. "Franziska bought for me in Germany." He said coolly. "Now will you tell me why you came here?"
Maya turned the game off and closed the game system. "Oh, Nick told me to bring some files over." She looked down at the game and gasped for the third time.
"Edgeworth! Your DS is pink?!" Maya said and couldn't believe it.
Edgeworth folded his arms. "It matched the décor of my office." Maya put her hand over her mouth to control her laughing.
AN: We both owna a pink GBA. Oh god I wish it was purple though. I had to get pink because my brother also had a GBA. Miles should totally be in an add with a pink DS in his hand.
