Prologue
AN: Well here I go again. I've decided that I would edit my story before I continued on with it. Hopefully, you will like the changes I've made and the story flows much more smoothly.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of this except for the plot and the twins, Lucius Simeon Drake Malfoy and Rosa Leigh and any other characters I decide would help my plot… oh! And yeah, I don't have any money so please don't sue me.

Prologue
He was dreaming, he knew it but he didn't care. It had been a long time since he'd had this particular dream, it always ended the same way, with him turning and then he would wake up.
"Harry!" he heard called out behind him. But before he could turn around to see who it was he woke to his uncle screaming at him.
"Boy! Get down here this instant." Harry sighed, Great! Just another start to another horrible summer. Or so he thought. He reached over to grab his glasses off his rickety bedside table. Getting off the bed he drew in a deep breath and moved towards the door. He had been lucky so far this summer, Vernon had yet to lock him in. Moving slowly down the hall towards the stairs he noticed the house was strangely quiet for this time of the morning. When he got down stairs he was surprised by the fact that everything was in boxes, and most of the furniture was gone. The weird part was that when he had been in the room the evening before it had not looked like this. Vernon Dursley was sitting on the only piece of furniture left, a fold out chair form the back yard.
It was the funniest thing in the world looking at a grown man the size of a walrus sitting in a chair that looked like it belonged to a toddler. 'He looks like he's sitting on nothing. You can't even see the chair.' Harry thought with a smothered grin. That was when he noticed that both the chair and his uncle were suspended above the ground. Looking around he didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
"Would you get those freaks to put me down? I would like to get going soon, the orphanage closes in one hour." His uncle said through clenched teeth.
"What do you mean? I don't see anyone Uncle Vernon." Harry looking around again. That's when he saw the little boy and girl who couldn't have been more than two years old hiding behind the counter. He knelt and called to them softly. "It's alright. I won't let the big mean man hurt you." Harry continued to speak softly to the children, and as he'd hoped they began peeking out at him.
Vernon looked about ready to protest until he saw them peek out from their hiding place. Harry just ignored his uncle while he looked at them, they were both the same and yet as different as night and day. The little boy had black hair and silvery blue colored eyes, and the little girl had white blond hair and green hazel eyes that would probably darken to darker green later. It took a little more coaxing but eventually they started forward slowly. Amused Harry watched as the boy toddled forward clutching his sister's hand in one hand and a stuffed lion in the other.
The boy's eyes widened as he looked at Harry, "Daddy" he squealed and rushed his sister and himself over. Harry laughed and bent over to pick them up.
"Rosa Leigh, Simeon Drake! What are you doing here? Where is your papa? He is supposed to be taking care of you." He asked them while hugging them. He hadn't seen his children since school had let out and Dumbledore had made him return to the Dursley residence.
"What is the meaning of this, boy? Do you know these freaks? Why did they call you daddy if you are asking them where their Papa is!" By now Vernon was seething. 'He's turning some interesting colors' Harry thought to himself.
Harry had grown quite independent in the almost two years since the twins had been born. When Sirius had died during his fourth year he had wallowed in grief and depression for nearly three months before Ron and Hermione had gotten him to seek some help. In his need for comfort he had turned to a surprising and most unlikely source. Lucius Malfoy. The story of how he became friends and then more with Lucius Malfoy is still a mystery to some of his friends. Most don't even know that Harry was civil to the man much less more.
When Voldemort had killed Narcissa and had almost killed Draco, Lucius had switched sides and gone straight to Dumbledore. Apparently, Voldemort had wanted the elder Malfoys to give Draco to him and when Narcissa had refused to hand her son over he had killed her. Draco was in the hospital wing for two months healing from the injuries he'd gotten. It was towards the end of those two months that Harry had become friends with the younger Malfoy. Who had himself declared a truce with the golden trio.
Harry's relationship with Lucius Malfoy had started out with a shaky friendship that soon became strong and had ended with Lucius getting pregnant after a late night and a few bottles of Fire Whiskey. Being raised muggle, Harry hadn't known what hit him. He didn't even know that wizards could get pregnant. But after a few confused hours he had been ecstatic; he would finally have a family that loved him.
After a long discussion Lucius had finally told him why he had really pursued a relationship with him even though he was only 16. It turned out that although he was from an old pureblooded wizarding family, the family line itself wasn't all that pure. He had Veela in him and it had found his mate in him, just as Draco had found his mate in Ron. He hadn't wanted to push him so soon after his godfather had passed but things had gotten out of hand the night he had conceived. Lucius explained that he had known that Narcissa wasn't his mate, but his father had pushed him into marrying her after he'd turned eighteen and he hadn't found his mate. He felt grateful that he'd known Narcissa for years and his marrying her had helped her from being married off to someone she didn't want.
"BOY!" Vernon shouted, as Harry hadn't answered his question.
Harry looked at his uncle and just sighed, "That would be because I am their father, Uncle Vernon." Harry told him after setting both children on the ground. He made sure that he had placed his body in front of the two children. He wouldn't have them getting hurt because his uncle was mad at him. As he stood there he knew he'd made the right decision because Vernon had begun to struggle in the chair that he was still sitting in.
"But… No! I won't have more freaks in my home!" Vernon seethed turning purple.
"Then you will be glad to know that it isn't your home any longer." Said a voice from behind them.
Authors Long Note:
I know that in the books Sirius died in the fifth book, but for the purposes of this story he died during the fourth. Also for the purposes of this book, the students are 12 in their first year at Hogwarts and not 11. This puts Harry at age 16 when the twins are born and 18 when they graduate from Hogwarts.
So, I want some input from you guys. Who do you think I should pair up Hermione and Ginny with? Should Ginny be one of Harry and Ron's supporters or should she be against them? Do ya'll have a preference on where the Weasley's and Remus stand on Harry's relationship? Let me know in the comments section and if I choose an idea from someone I'll be sure to credit you in the next update. I am also working on some side stories that will be going up alongside this one. If you have any requests I'll see what I can do. The one that I'm working on right now is an anniversary story for Harry and Lucius.
As of right now I'm planning on uploading my updates on Wednesday's, I'm almost done with next week's edit and I'm super proud of this weeks because I added 500 more words and basically doubled the prologue. So please leave comments on what you think of the edited version!
