"I must say Panda you've gotten a bit quicker". Junjie commented dodging one of Po's kicks. "Almost makes me regret having to destroy you".
"You've been training as well Po". Remarked dodging a blow from the fox, "it almost makes me not want to take you into prison". The panda finished lamely.
"You really don't have very good witty comebacks do you?". Jujie teased smirking as he swiftly got Po onto the ground. He stood on top of him. "You know you could leave the Jade Palace leave Shifu and come work for me".
Po's eyes narrowed swiftly knocking the smaller fox onto the ground.
"I'd never turn my back on my friends or Shifu!". Po spat.
"What is it about Shifu that makes you honor him so, it's not like".
Suddenly Junjie was knocked farther hitting a tree but this time not by Po, Heilang stood there 2 men on either side of him and he looked none to happy.
"Junjie!". The wolf spat "you should have known when you stole from me that I wouldn't just take that lying down".
"Out of everyone, everyone you steal from Heilang!". Po shouted slowly sitting up. "Are you looking for a death wish Junjie?!. I would've thought you'd be out of everyone a bit smarter than that".
"Perhaps I should've thought this threw?'. Junjie swallowed thickly as the wolf approached him, refusing to show fear the Fox quickly rushed at the wolf sending attacks and dodging hits that Heilang threw at him.
Shaking off the pain Po just watched the battle as Junjie kept dodging and going for attacks he was fast but given his encounter with Heilang when they tried to find the secret museum he wasn't fast enough. The Dragon warrior groaned running a paw down his face he was going to have to save Junjie wasn't he?.
A yell caught the Dragon warrior's attacks as Junjie was thrown onto the ground Heiliang towering over him, sighing Po sprang into action just as the wolf was about to hit Junjie with the last blow the fox's eye's closed. His eyes jolted open when something blocked the attack.
Po stood between him wincing as the hammer came down on his shoulder, he let out his battle cry as he knocked the weapon out of his hands with his foot. Going into fighting pose the Panda winced but his green eyes were firm as he gazed at Heilang.
"Walk away Heilang. Anything Junjie stole from you we can replace. But I'm not going to let you kill Junji".
"How noble". The Wolf sneered. "The Dragon warrior saving a villain in need what would your Master think".
"That sometimes I need to think for myself". Po's eyes blazed. "Bad guy or not annoying or not I won't let you kill him!".
"Fine! Then I will kill you!". Lunging Helilang threw punches which Po was able to weakly block he groaned as he was thrown against a wall forcing himself on unsteady legs. "You think just because you are the Dragon Warrior that you can defeat me!".
"No because he has me!".
Po's eyes widened as Junjie sprang into action sending a hit at the wolf, he watched the fox make a move that was much like Shifu's hitting pressure points until the villains body fell to the ground paralyzed. Forcing himself up Po could only gape, Junjie who had always fought him, master Shifu and the 5. The same one who had someone try to marry him. Who tried to attack them countless times.
Saved his life.
Po avoided Junjie's gaze as the Fox turned towards him, stiffening when he felt him come nearer. He jolted feeling a gentle paw lift his head up forcing him to look in the fox's eyes, which he now realized was on his staff.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah". Po stuttered quickly backing up refusing to look into Junjie's gorgeous eyes any longer, wait since when did he think anything of Junjie was gorgeous?
The fox just smirked jumping down from his staff giving a swift nod.
"Good". He glared down at Helilang who you could only see his eye's moving. "If you ever so touch me or the Dragon warrior again you will be answering to my students who will be a lot less forgiving then I am being right now got it!". Junjie hit his staff against the wolf's nose who made only a sound of confirmed.
Glancing at Po up and down he gestured Po to follow him.
"Come Dragon Warrior this attack will only paralyze him momentarily and while I could still take him I find myself hungry and". He chuckled as Po's stomach grumbled. "I assume you are as well".
Po looked sheepish it had been a while since he ate, but to go with Junjie the one who always tried to attack him, Shifu and the five?
"Dragon Warrior if I wanted you dead I would've let the wolf finish the job".
Junjie did have a point the panda gazed at the sunset and it would be dark in a few minutes it was still a half an half till he'd reach the Jade Palace and maybe going home alone right now while Herlilang was still in the area wasn't such a good idea. While Junjie was tough even Po had to admit he'd rather take on the fox rather than that wolf again.
Without much of a choice Po followed Junjie.
