"I would like to get on with my lesson without any smart-aleck interruptions!" Snape said with a sneer planted on his face.

"Oh, what I would like to do to him…"

"Hermione - shut up or you will cost us another 50 house points." Hermione knew that Ron was right, but ever since she had spoken out against the use of animals in potion-making, Snape had been giving her an increasingly hard time in class.

"What have you been up to this summer?" Harry was obviously trying to get her to change the subject. It wasn't going to work.

"Oh haven't you heard? She's obsessed with Edward Cullen," Ron said with a smirk.

"Who? I've never heard of him. Does he go to Hogwarts?" Harry laughed. He was definitely in on the joke.

"Oh, you wouldn't understand. He is the most romantic person that has ever lived - nothing like you two."

"He's a character in a book, Herm," Ron reminded her.

"He's really the greatest guy. He meets this girl, Bella, at school and every time she's in danger he is right there to rescue her. It's just so romantic!"

"He sounds like a stalker," said Harry.

"That will be 200 points from Gryffindor." Snape yelled from the front of the class.

"You've got to be kidding. I didn't do anything." Hermione sighed as Snape approach the table that she shared with Harry and Ron.

"I'm taking fifty points from each of you for talking, and another fifty points for this pathetic attempt at a destiny potion. You couldn't even wish yourself a passing grade with this potion, Granger.

Snape turned, knocking the potion from her hands and spilling it onto the front of her robes.

"Everyone else is dismissed. The three of you can stay behind and clean up this mess. Try to put a little more effort into it than you did with you assignment today."

Hermione couldn't help but think that Snape loved to make her life miserable. If she had to stay behind, there was no way she would get to Gryffindor tower in time to change before her next class.

"I wish Edward Cullen was here instead of Professor Snape." Hermione muttered, mopping up the potion from the table.

"Why are we friends with the number one person on Snape's enemy list," complained Harry.

"I wouldn't talk. You guys are his number two and three."

"Where's Snape!" Ron was looking around the room, but the professor was gone.

"I'm just going to throw this out and hopefully we can leave before he comes back."

Hermione turned with a napkin of potion-mess in her hand and let out a quick scream. Standing right behind her was Edward Cullen. The Edward she had been reading and dreaming about all summer.

"Could you tell me where I am?"
