Jack turns slowly, scans the area, spots the predator, and throws, catching the creature right between the eyes.
"O'Neill, how were you able to hit such a creature while not on your home world?"
"Yo-yo."
"Of course, because the yo-yo has a fixed mass, you can adjust to the gravitational differences by just practicing with it."
"I've been trying to get Hammond to issue these things to all of the off-world teams. He didn't take it too well. Maybe if you explain that mass/weight thing to him…"
"So, not part of the dumb guy act?"

In the English system (used in America - ?) force and mass are both measured in pounds. In the SI system force is measured in Newtons, and mass in grams.
