An extremely short fic about how Grimmjow would propose to my OC Narumi. It was inspired by how my friend's boyfriend asked her to Prom minus the flower petals, they were candy ahaha read and review!

"Hey babe, I got th- Babe? Where are yo- oh my God..." Narumi had just gotten back from grocery shopping to her apartment that she shared with her long time boyfriend, Grimmjow Jaegerjaques, and walked into their bedroom and promptly dropped the bag she was carrying along with her jaw. Laying on their rose petal covered bed was a tan, muscular man wearing only a tight, bright blue speed-o that matched his messy hair, a wide grin and the words, "Marry me?" written in blue icing down his chiseled chest and rock hard abs. Grimmjow was propped up on one arm and Narumi's hands came up to her mouth. "Gri-Grimmjow?" she asked shakily as tears began to well up in her eyes. Grimmjow reached behind him and brought back a small black velvet box and sat up. Narumi just stared with wide, watery eyes as Grimmjow got off the bed, walked over and knelt down on one knee in front of her. "I know this probably isn't how you pictured me doin' this, if ya pictured it at all, but this is what I came up with and I thought it would be memorable..." Grimmjow, who usually oozed confidence and was never nervous, had a slight shade of pink across his face and his hands that were holding the box were shaking, "Babe, I love ya and I think ya love me too. I know you say it more than I do, but that doesn't mean I don't love ya as much..." Narumi stared down into his cerulean eyes and her tears almost fell, but she held them back. Narumi couldn't speak and even if she could, she didn't know what to say. Grimmjow shifted nervously and cleared his throat, "Umi, we've been together since high school and it's been an amazing 3 years" Narumi held her tongue, it was actually 4 years this coming Thursday. Grimmjow looked down at his hands holding the ring he'd been saving up for most of their time together. He'd known that be wanted to marry her after the first week of their relationship.
