It was a early Monday morning when Lilith woke up. She stretched and sat up. She got out of bed, when suddenly, and small purple, glowing hole appeared in her wall. What the- Lilith thought. The hole grew to the size of her. The smell of the woods and the wilderness that drifted from the hole seemed to draw her to it. Suddenly she realized it was dragging her to it. As she felt herself being pulled into it she screamed. Her scream was cut off by the hole closing around her. And that is how Lilith the human came to Alagaesia.
Lilith had been a nobody, with an undying love for fantasy. She had always dreamed of being in that world. She had been the fantasy geek who sat in the back by herself. She had no friends, and her parents hated her. She was also the youngest of twelve children. Her family would not miss her. Her only good friend had died two years before this happened. So being sucked into a fantasy world with dragons, elves, and magic was a good change. But it was really confusing.
She landed in a pile of dust next to a pond . Everything looked normal. But when she turned around she saw a huge blue Dragon. Screaming, she leapt up and ran. But before she could get far, a set of green talons snatched her off the ground. "Oh gods I'm going to die!" She shrieked. She was thrown onto the remains of a tent. A young man with brownish hair jumped off the blue Dragon. Suddenly she felt something penetrating her mind. She attempted to defend herself but utterly failed. Then the boy spoke. "Arya. Come look at her mind." The green Dragon landed and an elf lept off. An Elf. She felt the penetrating feeling in her head again. "It is quite strange." The elf said softly. "Speak for yourself." The boy growled. Lilith stuttered her answer. "I-i was in bed, a-and some s-sort of p-portal thing appeared, a-and it b-brought me h-here." The boy extended his hand to help me up. I accept the help. "Odd. My name is Eragon." Then the elf spoke again. "I am Arya."
"This is Firnën and Saphira." Eragon said, gesturing to the green Dragon, then the blue. I am in my dreams, thought Lilith.
