ambush from within a puddle, team 7 continues the journey
to the land of waves
Sakura's P.O.V.
"Kakashi-sensei, are all powerful ninja insane?"
Kakashi looks at the pink haired girl for a moment before responding. "Well
Sakura, that certainly seems to be the case with most of the
ninja that I've met."
"But I was the top girl in our entire graduating class! I have perfect
chakra control! Shouldn't I be at least a bit quirky?"
"Yeah!" Naruto yelled "And with how amazingly awesome I am I should
be a raving lunatic! Dattebayo!"
"You are one, dobe"
"Shut up, teme!"
"Naruto, Sasuke, there's no need to fight. And Sakura has a point.
Aside from Naruto's pranks, the three of you seem remarkably
sane. But then there are exceptions to every rule. Best not to dwell on it."
Hours earlier, in the Hokage's office
"Hokage-sama, there must be someone else to send with me!"
"Not to worry, Tazuna-san. Team 7 may be a bit odd but you won't
find anyone more capable of guarding you."
"But she was arguing with herself the entire time!"
