Ferris Wheels and Fairgrounds
"Bas, I wanna go on the dodgems!"
"Blaine-"
"No wait, I wanna win one of thoooose!"
"Blaine we-"
"Wow, look at the hall of mirrors!"
"Blaine seriously just-"
But this time it's not Blaine's ramblings that cut him off, it's the unexpected impact when his front collides with Blaine's back.
"Oofph, Blaine, what are you doing?"
But Blaine doesn't reply. He doesn't need too, because the look of childlike awe on his face as he stares up at the giant rotation of lights spinning right ahead of him, says it all for Sebastian. Chuckling, he grabs Blaine's hand in a firm grip –their fingers entwined, like usual- with a look of pure love and adoration written across his face, and tries to guide Blaine through the crowds of people and towards the ferris wheel which looms higher and higher above them as they approach it. Blaine's gaze never leaves the seats going up and around while Sebastian pays for their tickets and they're being guided to their seat and secured to the bench.
As Blaine begins up and down excitedly, Sebastian takes the opportunity to slide his arm around Blaine's small waist and pulls him close to him, nuzzling his face into Blaine's neck and the few curls peaking from the black beanie perched on his head. It had taken a lot of convincing, but Sebastian had convinced him to forgo the hair gel tonight – he loved the way he could slide and tangle his fingers in Blaine's curls and thought of all the ways that came in handy. Sebastian was glad Blaine had caved, seeing how irresistibly adorable he looked in the black beanie with his wild curls peeking out and the black, thick rimmed glasses on the end of his nose. Not to mention the tights plaid button-up shirt Blaine was sporting, and those damn black skinny jeans. That just did a number on Sebastian.
The wheel slowly started and stopped repeatedly, whilst more people got onto the ride. Eventually, the wheel began to rotate at a constant pace, taking them from the muddy ground of the fair up to the night sky. After a couple of minutes of going around, the wheel stopped, leaving them rocking slightly at the very top of the ride. Sebastian scoffed, thinking how cliché it was, but his thoughts were interrupted when a soft "wow" fell from Blaine's lips.
At first, he was confused as to why Blaine sounded so awestruck. They were in Westerville, what was there to see? It wasn't until he followed Blaine's gaze that he noticed the beautiful array of lights splayed out ahead of them. Seas of blue, red, green, purple, yellow, all the colours you could imagine lighting up the fair beneath them, and he finally understood why it was that Blaine adored the fair so much. In those few moments that he watched the people milling around and the lights sparkling, it all became very clear to Sebastian. There was no where he'd rather be right now. In one swift moment, he turned Blaine's face to him, and planted a full, passionate kiss on his lips. He gently massaged Blaine's lips with his own, before subtly gaining entry to Blaine's mouth with his tongue. They stayed like this for a while, both totally absorbed in the moment and totally content with staying like this forever. Eventually, Sebastian pulled away, trying to get his breathing to return to normal. Slowly, he raised his lips to Blaine's ear.
"I love you, B"
"I love you too, Bas"
