We join this story as Tonberry is in the kitchen of his house..He is making a sandwich so he goes to cut it with his Chef's knife and he sees that it is extremely rusty, bloodstained, and ready to break.. He then decides to go shopping for a new blade..

We are now at a blade collector's store and Tonberry walks in... As soon as he walks in, an employee from the store greets him and asks if he is looking for anything in particular...Tonberry than responds that he is looking for a replacement for his knife, he then holds up his old knife.. The employee then goes quick to work and takes Tonberry to the Scimitar section.
The Employee is showing Tonberry all the different scimitars and telling him why he should buy one and Tonberry just isn't interested..He said "I don't want a scimitar!" and holds up his knife..The employee then picks up Tonberry and carries him to another section of the store..
Tonberry has been brought to the Broad sword section..The employee then shows Tonberry the Broad Swords and Tonberry says " NO! No No No! I don't want broad swords! If you don't show me what I want I'm leaving!" The Employee then nervously grabs Tonberry's hand and walks him to the Katana/Knife section..
Tonberry's eyes glow with happiness.. He walks up to what he likes...but it's not a knife..It's a katana.. Tonberry says "I love this! It looks like my Knife but bigger! I'll take it." The employee then asks for 100 dollars and Tonberry's happiness drops..he said "I only have 50 Gold pieces.." The employee's eyes glow and he says "Y'know what.. I like you.. I'll let you have it.. and I'll throw in a sheath..and I'll give you 10 dollars back..(This gold is worth at LEAST 1000 dollars!!)"
Tonberry then walks out the door with his katana, sheath, and 10 dollar bill..he passes a kitchen shop and sees a solid gold Chef knife in the window... He walks in as asks how much it is.. the clerk says 160 dollars... Tonberry then says "Can i give you $10 and this 100 dollar katana and 50 dollar sheath?" The clerk says yes and Tonberry gets his solid gold knife, leaves his katana, and goes home...
