Love Cannot be Hidden
"Seriously, why those two just tell each other what they feel and get it over with," Nami said with frustration from the lawn chair as she relaxed on the upper deck of the Sunny along with Robin, reading book, as usual.
Robin lift her head from the book and gazed where Nami's currently looking at. On the lawn deck, the Strawhat Captain and his swordsman are dozing off peacefully while leaning on to each other. Almost all the crew already noticed the underlying tension between the two. But, meanwhile the whole crew already know the truth, the two seems on hell bent to hide what they feel for each other.
As they watch the two pirates, Zoro wakes up, apparently disturb by something because, well, he can be heavy sleeper when he wants to be. When he saw Luffy leaning on his shoulder, they notice the soft expression overtakes his face. He lift his right hand and slowly brush away the hair that fall on his captain's forehead that somehow goes unruly. Zoro must feel they gazed on him because he turned towards them and scowled when he saw the teasing smile from Nami and the soft smile on Robin's.
'He must feel we were looking at them, that's why he wakes up.' Robin mused thoughtfully. She goes back to reading the book while Nami continues to look at them. He looks like he wants to gets up and give Nami his piece of mind when Luffy shift against his side, muttering softly his swordsman's name.
The changes are immediate, his scowl disappeared, replace by the look of warmness that goes hand in hand with the wonder of knowing Luffy. They noticed him whispering softly to Luffy, the expression on their captain's face hearing the voice of his swordsman and leaning more heavily for the assurance, warm and comfort. And, Zoro, going back to sleep after talking to Luffy, more relaxed than they saw him in days.
"Seriously..." Nami muttered as she sighed softly, still looking at the two of their nakama that had been with her since almost beginning. The friends who give back her happiness and freedom.
"Just give them time, Nami." Robin said fondly, soft smile on her face. Abandoning once again the desire to read for a moment as she gaze at their family that gave her a reason to live. "After all, love cannot be hidden forever."
