Hello and welcome to my revamped version of Friends Forever, a very old story of mine. I've grown a lot as a writer and I hope you all enjoy this story.

Also I do not own Naruto or any of its characters!

Hope's POV

As a child growing up you live in fear of the monsters your parents tell you about. The blood thirsty creatures that consume people, that hide in the shadows with blood red eyes, waiting for their next pray. That's why I never blamed them from running away. Why I didn't fit back at first. I was a monster in their eyes, so it was not shocking to find their children felt the same. I grew up knowing not to talk to them, to stay away so they could be happy. Every good person deserves to be happy.

It wasn't like I was completely alone, I did have some family. I had grandpa Kage, granted he wasn't my real grandfather but he did take care of me. I had Hina-nee, she was always kind to me even if she wasn't really allowed to be around me. I had Naruto to, a long time ago, but then he went to school and moved on from me. I was okay with it, he was becoming more excepted and loved and that's all that mattered.

I wasn't allowed to go to the academy because I was too dangerous. I don't know how to control myself, so I was never allowed to learn with the other kids. However that doesn't mean I'm not learning at all, Kakashi is teaching me everything I need to know to be an amazing ninja.

I was snapped out of my thought by a shout coming from bellow me, looking down I see the student from the academy walking out of class. They all broke into groups and headed different ways. My eyes found their way to the blonde boy I grew up with, Naruto. He was grinning and trying to get a pink haired girls attention. His bright blue eyes alight with happiness as she turned to look at him. Beside her a blonde girl in purple clothing mumbled something about Sasuke being hers. I watched as Naruto tried, and failed, to get the pinkette to go out with him. Her eyes frequently shooting over to the dark haired boy slowly walking away from the school.

Sakura quickly brushed Naruto off and ran after the Uchiha, Ino following close behind. I watched as Naruto signed and turned to head back to his apartment. I was about to follow him when I faintly heard my name. Looking in the direction of the voice I meet the eyes of the Uchicha boy, Sasuke. Sakura gasped when she saw me and pulled him back.

"Sasuke! Don't talk to her, she's a monster!" Sakura shouted trying to pull him away. I blinked, the wind blowing my hair off my shoulder, the faint smell of fear mixing into the scent of flowers that normal surrounded the area.

"Yeah, She killed a guy not too long ago! You should stay away from her!" The blonde girl yelled. I watched closely as the boy stared at the two girls before brushing them off and walking over to the tree is was sitting in. He looked at me before oddest question I had ever heard.

"Do you want to train with me?" The words flowed out of his mouth with no hesitance, my eyes widened. He wanted to train with me?

I was about to answer when Sakura's voice cut through the air. "No Sasuke-kun you can't! She's a monster, she'll kill you!"

My eyes stared at him as his hands curled into a fist. "Stop calling her that, damnit. She is just a girl, she;s strong and I need to be powerful so I need a powerful partner. So get lost ok?" He growled out. A gasp left my mouth and my eyes got even wider.

Nobody had ever defended me before. What in the world was happening?
