Heheheh, so, I'm not going to say anything about this, cause it'll probably give everything away. Let's just say, someone learns a valuable lesson about the perils of eavesdropping... Enjoy, and please remember to review!

Dr. James Wilson smiled and hummed softly as he walked down the hall. Everyone who saw him noticed the extra spring in his step, and some of the nurses were certain that the smile had been put there by the next future ex Mrs. James Wilson.
He ignored the suspicious stares and whispers and headed to his office to deal with another cancer patient. But as he passed House's office, something strange reached his ears, and he stopped to listen.
"Hold still, it's stuck," he heard House say in an exasperated voice, and it gave him pause. Just what was stuck?
"It hurts." That was Cameron's voice. What the hell was going on?
"If you don't hold still, I can't do this."
Wilson leaned against the wall and shoved his fist against his mouth. It certainly didn't seem like a conversation he should have been eavesdropping on, but...
"Ow!"
"Oh, it doesn't hurt."
"It does hurt!" he heard Cameron say indignantly. Then he heard a yelp, and Cameron saying, "Don't do it that way! Ow, ow, ow! You are poking me too hard!"
Wilson's eyebrows nearly reached his hairline, and his eyes became as wide as saucers. Had House finally gotten around his fear of opening up and taken Cameron right there in his office? It definitely sounded like something he would do...
"If you don't hold still, I can't get it out!"
"It hurts!"
"Oh, it can't hurt that much."
"How would you know? It's stuck in me!" he heard Cameron snap, and despite the awkwardness of the situation, he chuckled a little. She shrieked, and Wilson glanced briefly around the hall to make sure no one else had heard. "Ow, now that does hurt, damn it!"
A brief moment of silence ensued, then House said, "Ah, there you go. That's a big one, isn't it?"
Wilson scratched his head, but continued to listen.
"I've never had one that big in me." That was it. Wilson turned around and practically ran back to his office, slamming the door behind himself.
The nurses looked at each other and immediately gossiped amongst themselves about the cause of Wilson's little outburst.
In House's office, Cameron put her finger in her mouth, then looked at the little spot on her finger that was inflamed.
House smirked and put the needle away. Then he grabbed her hand, turned it so the palm was up, and he kissed it. "All better," he declared, and she shot a glare at the wooden chair that had given her the splinter.
"Damn chair," she grumbled, putting her finger back into her mouth. He couldn't help but smile at her five year old behavior.
Gently pulling her finger away from her mouth, he took an unsteady step forward, his cane clattering to the floor as his arms went around her and his mouth claimed hers. He tasted the dark recesses of her mouth, and she made a small sound at the back of her throat as she rested a hand on the back of his neck and pulled him closer.
When he finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against hers and grinned smugly.
"I'm not ever getting rid of that chair."
The End
A/N: Okay, so I totally borrowed most of the lines from the hit movie, Look Who's Talking, but it made for a good laugh! Gimme some love here, people, and please review!
