this is a little story i am writing for fun. plz review it!!

A light breeze ruffled my coat as a crouched down to stalk my prey. I could feel the soil beneath my paws as I gently flexed my claws and dung them deeper into the ground.

I crouched lower, knowing that the lower I went, the higher my jump would be.

And then, a strong wind came and carried my scent with it to my prey. My prey looked up, turned and gazed straight into my eyes. I could felt the adrenaline in the moment. With one leap, I could have it in my clutches. But something inside of me clicked again.

In one swift moment I could have had my meal for the day, but I couldn't bring myself to kill it. I knew my fathers orders, but I was different. Not just a different wolf, but a different creature altogether.

"Mira, where is your meal?" Aria asked.

"wha-what do you mean? I am not hungry. Why should I eat when I do not hunger?" I replied.

"Because you are part of the pack now and every wolf must hunt and bring back food. If you do not want your food, then give it to Alfa. He will then decide who will get it."

Aria was my only friend in the pack. She looked out for me and always found a way through the toughest situations. If it hadnt been for her, I probably would be dead. She saved me from a wildfire that swept through the forest. My parents and my brother and sister were the only ones killed in that fire. I dont know how Aria saved me, but she did. Now I am her main source of company. We spend the days finding herbs that will cure the sickly or help the injured.

As i came back from my reverie, our Alfa walked past Aria and me. He stopped, looked down at my feet then asked, "Mira? Where is your meal?"

"It ran away from me," I replied in a feetle atempt to hide my the fact that I did have the opportunity to catch my prey but I decided not to.

"It ran away?" Alfa asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Don't you know how to use your legs? You could have chased after it," Alfa said.
