"Skip! That was-"
"Brilliant?
"How did-"
"I know?"
"Wow Skip, you read my mind! Twice!"
"No Arthur, I didn't read your mind."
"But you-"
"Knew what you were going to say? Yes. Let's just say I had a hunch."
"Wow! You're brilliant!" said Arthur as he snuggled closer to Martin. "That's why I like you Skip, you're brilliant. Actually, you're more than brilliant, you're magnificent! Like those men and their flying machines!" He tilted his head up and tried to kiss Martin, but he missed his mouth and instead, kissed his chin.

Martin chuckled and wrapped his arms tighter around Arthur and pulled him closer; kissing the top of Arthur's head. Arthur nuzzled Martin's chest, found a comfortable position, then drifted off to sleep. Martin lay there thinking about himself and Arthur. When Arthur had first approached him he hadn't thought it possible that they'd be compatible with Arthur being Arthur and Martin being Martin, but he had to admit that something had clicked between them. Arthur was kind, caring, and full of endless optimism. Arthur was exactly the person which Martin found he had been searching for. Arthur balanced and completed him.
As Martin drifted off to sleep he began wondering how he was going to tell Douglas that he was in love with the mastermind behind surprising rice.
