Renesmee's POV
I was going to Grandpa's house. Again. Not that I didn't love seeing him. But I was ten! Why couldn't I tag along with everyone else? And besides, Grandpa was getting all old and wheezy. I didn't want to have to put up with him. We couldn't go out and play catch anymore. I was stuck sitting inside watching him sleep. Aunt Alice said he was just sick. But I didn't believe it. My mind wandered. Last night, when I was supposed to be sleeping, I happened to hear Mom and Dad talking about leaving. The exact opposite of what I wanted, wheezy Grandpa or not.
"Ness! Come on! Get in the car! Bella said to get you to Charlie's before lunch!"
I groaned. "Come on! Aunt Alice, it's seven!" Damn. Now I wished I would've slept in.
"Don't care. Now, don't make me come in there and drag you out. You'll go eventually, and before lunch! I can see it!" When I made no attempt to move, Aunt Alice came in and grabbed me. I screamed and pounded against her back.
"LET ME GO! I CAN GET IN THE CAR MYSELF! COME ON! I'M TEN, AUNT ALICE! I CAN RUN AND WALK JUST AS WELL AS YOU!" Jasper came in and I knew I would calm down so I made the best of my last seconds of anger, getting practically no where. Then calm came over me.
When I was in the Volvo, Jasper changed my mood. I was nearly jumping out of the car. "Jazz, tune it down a bit. Edward's not gonna like it when he learns his daughter busted the hood of his Volvo." They were whispering but I could still faintly hear them. And then Dad and Mom came. I watched as they got in, one by one. Not much to watch. They didn't even put on their seat belts. Yet I just had to wear my own seat belt. I started to complain, thinking I might be able to get out of wearing it or at least get them to put theirs on. But to no avail. They laughed. "You remind me of your mother when she was human," Dad chuckled.
Groaning seemed to be a regualr thing for me. I groaned again. "Can't I come with you guys?"
I saw Dad smirk and I didn't think that was a good thing. "You are. See, we're in the car with you." Damn. Always a way around my pleads.
I was about to protest when we pulled up at Grandpa's house. Hello boredom. I climbed out and Mom and Dad followed.
Putting on a smile, I stepped into the house. To my surprise, Grandpa stood at the door. He was looking better too. "Hey kiddo," he greeted me. I gave him a hug. "Hey Bells, Edward. How long do I have her?"
I turned to them with pleading eyes. No use. "Keep her as long as you want. We were just gonna go out, do some shopping. We're low on groceries." I saw Grandpa blush. He'd raided the fridge last time, he missed Mom's cooking so much.
"Um... Sorry 'bout that..." Mom and Dad laughed under their breaths.
"Well, we better be going now," Aunt Alice had come into the room. "See you Charlie." And then they were gone.
Short chapter, I know. Just to get things started. Renesmee's matured a bit more. It's ten years after BD. Ness is physicaly ten. But she acts like she's fifteen. She is in school with the Cullens. Same schedule as her parents. Um... Ya. Not the best. Sorry 'bout that. Review please if you want me to improve. XD
