If only she knew that no one ever sat by her in Science on purpose.
She tells herself it's only because there are no other Pretty Committee members in the room.
If only she knew that it would have been Kristen with Dylan and Massie with Claire even if they were there.
She tells herself that it's because all the other girls are too intimidated by her to even ask to be her partner.
If only she knew that that she's constantly what the other girls make fun of; none of them want to be like her.
She tells herself that the guys don't pick her because they knew they would be too distracted if they worked with her, and if they get bad grades, then they won't be able to take her out on a date.
If only she knew that despite her looks, the guys don't want to be paired with a bimbo when it comes to school
She tells herself that Massie hangs out with Claire more than her because Massie doesn't want Alicia to know about her 'alpha' secrets. She only feels bad for Claire.
If only she knew how Massie wasn't afraid to eat sugar with Claire or how Claire gave Massie what she was never able to: a real friend.
She tells herself that Cam doesn't really like Claire; that Cam is only trying to make her jealous.
If only she knew that Cam went over to Claire's house every Friday for family game night because he wants to spend time with her.
She tells herself that Dempsey only likes Kristen because he knows he can't have herself.
If only she knew that Dempsey wanted Kristen before he even knew Alicia's name.
She tells herself that Derrick is only dating Dylan because he wants to get publicity for his soccer team and he's using her for her mom's famousness.
If only she knew that Derrick doesn't leave Dylan's side because he can't stand being away from her.
She tells herself that Josh ended things between them because his mom wouldn't allow him to have a girlfriend.
If only she knew how hard Massie blushed when Josh placed his Yankees hat on her head or how Josh's eyes gleamed when she quickly kissed him on the cheek.
She tells herself that the only reason Layne got to be the Editor of the school paper was because she bribed Principal Burns.
If only she knew how much more people enjoyed Layne's eccentric writing styles than her barely average columns.
She tells herself the Pretty Committee will beg for her to return on Monday.
If only she knew they'd been planning on kicking her out since the last two Mondays.
She tells herself that her life's perfect in every way shape and form.
If only she knew that it wasn't.
