Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter (I wish so badly), or Harry, or Hermione, or Ron (I'm so happy about that one though), or Fred, or George, or Gryffindor (my favourite house is Slytherin anyway), or library books, or anything else of any concern of any person whatsoever (though if they aren't reading this I don't think it can offend them...)
Another Summer Ships! Probably all for today! I technically wrote this yesterday, but it's for today anyway!
Hermione Granger shut her book and shoved it back. She glanced at Harry, who was still pouring over his book.
"Harry, it's 3am," Hermione whispered, glancing at his watch. "We have to go to bed."
Harry made a sort of grunt and shut his book, too. "It's not that late," he said, even though it clearly was, considering Fred and George had gone to bed an hour ago.
"Yes it is," Hermione said insistingly. "Aren't you tired?"
Harry shrugged and shoved his book back, too. "I'm too tired to notice. You look horrible, though. You go to bed."
"You're going to bed too!" Hermione exclaimed, forgetting to whisper. She grabbed his arm and attempted to pull him to the Boy's staircase, but he pulled her back.
"I'm just going to look at one more book," Harry promised, but Hermione shook her head.
"Nuh uh," she protested, pulling him again. "You go to bed, or I won't."
"Come on," Harry said, but her arms were crossed and she was clearly not going anywhere. "Go to bed, Hermione."
"No," Hermione said, sitting back down. "I'll sit here while you look at 'one more book.'"
"Hermione-"
"Harry-"
"You're not going to be able to stay up this late," Harry said. "You're gonna fall asleep."
"I won't!" Hermione shook her head and scooted her chair next to Harry. "What are you even reading?"
"This dragon book from the library. They all are, you know that. Just go to bed!"
Hermione blinked several times and didn't answer. She stared at what Harry was reading, but it was blurry. She blinked a few more times, and lay her head on Harry's shoulder.
"I'm not tired," she said.
"Yeah, I bet," Harry said back. He glanced at Hermione, but she was fast asleep against him.
Did you like it? I hope so!
I know it's short (298 words), but I couldn't tell at the time! And I hope you at least liked it, though it was so very short!
ILoveWillRiker and I are doing this Summer Ships thing where we have a list of 61 ships to write for, and we're going to write for them all by summer (individually, none of them are cowritten! If you're interested, you could look at the community for that or my and her profiles to read ones! I don't know?
