Author's Note: Hey, I got this random idea while at homecoming, cos only I could come up with a random idea while at homecoming....while listening to "It's hot in here".....and dancing with my friends.....right, don't worry. Anyway, I guess I'll go on with the story, but first, A Warning!

This is a mary sue, sort of. It's kinda backwards, in more then one way, but yeah, I dunno how im gonna finish this....enjoy the story anyway, I hope...!

Prologue

It was cold.

Too cold.

'If an Elf thinks it's too cold, it's bound to be cold.' Talantir thought to himself, cursing the rain and the fact that he was in the middle of no where.

'I have no clue where I am, where I am going, and what is going to happen to me.' The blonde Elf mumbled to himself miserably. Being the smart person that he was, he parked himself under a tree, just as lightning hit about a hundred feet away from where he was. Talantir stared at that spot for a moment, his eyes wide with fright, before looking at his choices and climbing up the tree. The cold was definitely, not helping him think straight at all.

'This is the worst time of my life.' He thought. Talantir sighed as his thoughts strayed to the day he left the palace. He had gone out to go to Rivendell, where his father's friends were the twin lords of the city. But he managed to get himself lost....again. Now don't get me wrong, Talantir is a very smart Elf. But the time he chose to leave was the worst he could pick weather wise. He had gotten lost looking for a city by the Misty Mountains when a storm kicked in, and here he was. His long, blonde hair clinging to his face, and his forest green tunic and brown trousers were clinging to his body in the most uncomfortable way possible, showing of the muscular curves of his arms and chest from thousands of years of training. He, being the Prince of his realm, took after his father, and was one of the best arches in all of Middle Earth. But archery wouldn't do him very well now, even if he could see anything in the accursed rain.

'At least the leaves up here give me some protection from the rain.' Talantir thought. But before he could think anything else, lightning hit the very tree he was in. The tree caught on fire before cracking down the middle and the two halves fell to the ground, one of them crushing the Elf beneath it.

Emma laughed as she watched her friends go off to their houses. Nothing could ruin today. Nothing. She was home by herself, since her parents had left for two weeks to have a vacation all to themselves, and so she had control of absolutely EVERYTHING.

Yes, Emma was very hyper right now. But she had to go and walk the half an hour that it would take to get from the extremely small base that she went to school on to get to her house.

But obviously something planned to ruin her day.

And the something came falling from the sky (literally) as she walked and fell on top of her.

That definitely wasn't very nice.

A/N: yes, I know, short. So sue me. R&R
