"Ezra just called in."
"Damn it!" Chris cursed. "Didn't anybody tell JD not to let Ezra call in today?"
Five heads slowly shook their negative answers.
"Why can't he call in today?" JD questioned. "What's so special about today?"
"It's Spring Cleaning Day," Josiah remarked.
At JD's blank look, Nathan explained, "We have to sort through and clean everything in the offices today."
"Okay . . . "
"Ezra always calls in sick today," Vin put in.
"'Cause he runs from menial labor," Buck added, "like a rat from a cat."
Grinning, JD teased, "Is it too late for me to call in?"
"YES!" the others shouted.
