Dean had raised Sam since he was a baby, it was only natural Sam might try to copy his older brother. Which is why Dean always had to always be careful of the items he left out around Sam.
"Sammy! Don't touch that!" Dean noticed just in time as his four year old brother reached for the pocket knife he had left carelessly on the night stand.
Sam quickly jerked his hand away and Dean knelt beside him to check for injury.
"Sammy, don't ever touch my knifes, you understand?"
"Yes, Deanie."
