Shikamaru stared at the sleeping blonde girl beside him; he can't help but smile as the memories of last night flashed through his mind. It was what he dreamt off, the years of waiting surely paid well. He touched her cheeks, caressing the soft skin until he felt her stiffen at his movement. Baby blue orbs greeted his tense expression, a look of contentment from her eyes washed all throughout his entire being.
"Go back to sleep, it's still early." He whispered, as he nuzzled closer onto her.
"Why you're still awake Shika? Is there something bothering you?" Ino asked as she tried to prop her elbows to take a good look at the pineapple-haired man only to be pulled down again by him.
"Nothing," he kissed her forehead and hugged her lightly "I'm just happy" Ino smiled at his statement, she tighten her hug on him as she felt the dizziness consumed her once again. I'm just happy because you're here now, that I can now freely express what I feel for you."I love you Ino"
"I love you too Shika" he was surprised that she responded, he thought she was now sleeping peacefully. Taking a look at her face to see if she was still awake, Shikamaru noticed that her eyes were closed; her chest rises and falls steadily.
Probably it was just my imagination he thought as he closed his eyes and join his beloved blonde on the dream land.
