She's young and wants the world. She, maybe, even expects to receive it, as if it's a present that can be wrapped up and slipped under a large evergreen decorated with shining ornaments and glittering lights.

She's beautiful and flawless and wealthy so maybe, the world is her right, something she should have.

And he, well, he loves her (not that he'd ever admit it). She's perfect to him: all sparkling blue eyes and shimmering blonde hair and bell-like laughter. He'd do anything.

So, he submits himself to a power-hungry man bent on ruling the world so he can give his young and beautiful and perfect wife the world, because beautiful girls should have beautiful things so he'll give her the world if she wants it.
